It’s abject bummer that trailhead vehicle break-ins are fact of life but there are some simple commonsense steps you can take to avoid becoming a victim. Here’s a quick video from The Hiking Guy on how to prevent theft while out hiking:
-Assume that your car can be broken into.
-Make it easy to see that you know they’re looking and you’ve got nothing for them.
