Over at Attitash Mountain Resort in Bartlett, New Hampshire, things don’t come easy. They’ve seen their fair share of struggles, but they’re on the rise thanks to a lift replacement last winter and taking care of what was deferred maintenance from prior ownership. Next on the docket is the Summit Triple chairlift replacement, which will become a high-speed quad.

In Attitash’s latest video construction update, they explained that despite the progress they’ve made on The Mountaineer, it won’t be ready for the opening day of the 2023-24 season. For the construction timeline, Attitash’s next milestone will be the helicopters flying concrete at the end of September. After that, they’ll have fly days in October, where the teams will install the new lift towers. They expect to open the new chairlift during the pivotal Holiday Week. In addition, the Oktoberfest celebration has been canceled due to all the lift equipment that’s situated at Bear Peak. Attitash’s projected opening date for the 2023-24 season has yet to be announced by Vail Resorts.
