TREW, began as an outdoor apparel brand in the Pacific Northwest. Now they are thrilled to announce the launch of its first-ever North American film project and TREW to You Tour. With their core principle being “Stay TREW,” they emphasize the creation of a vibrant community. In doing so, this captivating film project showcases the brighter side of life and offers a remarkable opportunity for 10 exceptional teams of skiers and riders. The project features hometown premieres and a chance to compete for an incredible $10,000 grand prize. With audience participation through voting, this unique initiative promises to be an unforgettable journey.

Capturing the Essence of “Staying TREW”

During the winter of 2022/2023, ten teams were meticulously chosen to produce three to five-minute films. Each film embodies the spirit of their community, their local terrain, and the profound meaning of “Staying TREW.” With just six weeks for filming and four weeks for editing, these captivating edits have now been combined into a longer-form film.

Now, this remarkable cinematic experience will be showcased on a tour this fall, featuring screenings in each team’s hometown. In addition to the tour, the film will also be digitally released. This ultimately allows everyone, regardless of location, to be a part of the immersive “TREW To You” experience. Following the screenings and digital release, viewers will have the chance to vote for their favorite edit, selecting the one that best brings the “Stay TREW” mantra to life.

An Unforgettable TREW to You Tour

The much-anticipated TREW To You tour begins on September 21st in Salt Lake City, hosted at Evo’s Salt Lake location. The tour will then journey to prominent cities such as Denver, Seattle, Hood River, and Portland, taking place at Evo locations in each destination. The tour stops promise an incredible lineup of exclusive film screenings. There will also be TREW swag from esteemed partners including Hestra, Evo, Rux, and Super Pacific. If this doesn’t get you stoked for the season, nothing will.

A Different Kind of Ski Film

Unlike traditional ski and snowboarding films that feature well-known professional athletes, the TREW To You film does not. In fact, it provides a remarkable opportunity for anyone to be included. The winners will be determined by the audience, fostering a unique chance to expand the vibrant TREW community.

From the untamed wilderness of Alaska to the enchanting woods of the Adirondacks, the ten teams selected for this project reflect the diverse landscapes they conquer. The Tele Colo team encourages individuals to free their minds and heels in the stunning landscapes of Colorado. Meanwhile, the Change Collective from Seattle comprises four talented BIPOC athletes seeking to address the inequalities prevalent in the sport and inspire positive change within snow sports.

These exceptional teams, consisting of families, friends, and passionate individuals, truly represent the audience that TREW aims to engage during their tour across North America this fall.
