If you’ve ever wondered what skiing at Portillo is like, this will make you want to pack your bags.

A couple of weeks ago, SkiBoyNY shared a video guide of the runs currently open at the Chilean ski resort. The video below breaks down what conditions have been like this winter and the lifts at the ski resort. He takes a ride of every easy, intermediate, and black run that was open when the video was made, which shows why many desire to visit.

Portillo’s had a dryer winter so far, so numerous lifts like Juancillo, Roca Jack, and Vizcachas are closed. It does appear though that multiple days of snowfall are in the forecast this week. Here’s hoping this can turn the 2023 season around for this bucket-list skiing destination.
