Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) shared a video of an adorable black bear cub being rescued from a dumpster. Wildlife officers in conjunction with the Douglas County police were able to place metal fencing in the dumpster, allowing the cub to climb out on its own. The cub then reunited with its mother off camera. CPW reminds everyone to not toss food waste in open dumpsters, as it can attract and trap bears. Although bears usually survive off of more natural means, it is no secret that bears love garbage. Check out the footage of the rescue below:
