Marco Odermatt just had one of the best ski racing seasons ever. The Swiss Olympian recorded 2042 points during the 2023 World Cup circuit. He surpassed Hermann Maier’s men’s record of 2,000 points, which happened during the 2000 World Cup circuit. He didn’t quite get to the all-time record, which was set by Tina Maze in 2013 with 2414 points.

During the 2023 World Cup season, he had 22 podiums, 13 victories, 3 Crystal Globes, and 2 World Championship titles. With him competing in 26 races, he made the podium nearly 85% of the time. Congrats to Marco!
