The French ski resort of Les Deux Alpes had a slippery situation on their hands this weekend.
The resort saw wet snow and heavy rain fall on the night of March 11th, 2023. The mixture caused thick ice to form on their chairlift cables.
The video below shows ice being removed ‘manually’, and it’s oddly satisfying.

My only criticism is that the video didn’t last longer.
I could have watched that all day long. It reminds me of those power washing videos that go viral on TikTok every once in a while.
For that matter, somebody should start an account that only shows chairlift de-icing videos. I’d follow.
