Bit hard to see in the video but this snowmobiler was able to ride out of this avalanche triggered on South face of north peak at College Glacier, Hoodoo Mountains, Eastern Alaska Range, and was not carried by the slide. His snowmobile did end up taking a ride but machinery can replaced. Be safe out there folks, to begin or continue your avalanche safety educational journey please GO HERE:

Please excuse the language as you listen for effective communication and keeping eyes on during this event. Rider and group had Avy rescue gear (beacon, shovel, probe) and radio communication.

Snowmachiner was able to ride off the slope to the left and deploy avalanche pack. Snowmachine was carried down slope by the slide.
