The video below shows a man rescuing a dog that had fallen through the ice at a park in Kansas.

The video’s description claims that the man jumped into action after the dog’s owner didn’t seemed concerned at all.

She is reported to have only said “He’s fine”.

Check out the video below:

“A beautiful February day, after weeks of sub-0 temperatures and frozen lake. It starts to melt, and the dog park is packed. Many people started to notice a dog struggling when it fell through the ice. After multiple attempts to notify an owner by yelling, a ‘he’s fine’ was heard.

David didn’t hesitate. After taking his shoes and pants off, he broke through the ice by jumping on his knees at first, then pounding with his arms to make a path to the struggling pup. After back on land, multiple people thanked David, except a thank you from the dog owner.”

Here’s a hot take- too many people in this country own dogs.

Dogs are loyal and loving creatures, and I’d argue about 33% of dog owners doesn’t deserve their pets.

Just take the lady in the video above as an example. How in the world did she think that dog was “fine”?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!

Here’s hoping somebody called animal control. That pup deserves better.
