You can remotely start your Tesla from just about anywhere with an internet connection using the app.
The electric car maker is showing a pretty useful application of that technology for skiers and snowboarders.

Honestly, that’s pretty damn cool.
There’s nothing worse than skiing powder all day long only to have to clear a crapload of snow and ice off your windshield.
I’ve had a few days out east where the ice was so thick that I just gave up and went back into the lodge for an extra hour to wallow in my frustration.
With that said, did nobody in Tesla’s marketing department realize that they would get clowned for having the person in the video ski back to their car across the parking lot?
In summary- warming up your Tesla from that chairlift is cool. Skiing across the parking lot is a #totaljerrymove.
