“He ended up doing a bluff charge. So I took that opportunity to scream like a little girl and run up that tree.” –David Meredith

Quality bit of reporting out of Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, where a local man was chased up a tree by an aggressive bull moose. CTV News reports David Meredith was out for an evening stroll when he came upon the moose. Initially he hid behind a tree and watched as he “really didn’t have anywhere to go.” The moose eventually noticed him and responded with a bluff charge, thats when Meredith booked it up a tree. All told he spent about 10 to 15 minutes in the branches before moose lost interest, in the meantime he pulled out his phone and started recording. Best part of the whole thing is that reenacted his hasty retreat and reclimbed the tree for a news crew. What a good sport…gotta love Canadians!
