Peter Santenello is a popular content creator on YouTube. His videos focus on interviewing people in various sub-cultures across the country.

Santenello was recently in Montana to speak with John Hoiland, who is believed to be the world’s oldest cowboy.

“Join me as we go back in time and into the life stories of the oldest-known living cowboy on the planet. John Hoiland was born in 1927 and has been a cowboy since day one living on the same land for 95 years.

He remembers WWII, the Natives, and has never owned a cell phone. Get some popcorn and sit back to the oldest living stories of cowboy culture in the Western USA.”

Check out a quick excerpt from Santello’s time with John below.

I could listen to Hoiland share his wisdom all day long.

I highly recommend you watch the full 30+ minute video when you have a chance. I was fascinated by how coherent Hoiland is after all of these years.
