Uh… I’m not even sure where to begin with the video embedded below.

I usually have some kind of attempt at a funny quip, sarcastic breakdown, or just plain nonsense to spout off, but I’m honestly at a lost for words.

I’ll let you watch, and then let’s check in afterwards. Maybe I’ll have something coherent to say about this unbelievable clip.

The video was filmed at Glenshee Ski Center in Scotland.

I’ve watched this clip about a dozen times, and I think I’ve finally figured out what in the actual hell is going on.

This Scottish bloke (do the Scots say bloke?) has tied his pole straps around his bindings and is using them to drag his skis across the parking lot.

Who in the Good Lord’s name (Candide Thovex) thinks that this is an appropriate way to carry their gear back to their vehicle?!?!?!?!?!?

My brain is in an absolute pretzel. I can’t get past the fact that this dude actually took the time to tie his pole straps around his bindings rather than just throw his skis over his shoulders like any normal person.

Is it genius? No. Is it creative? Well, yeah, I guess?

I’m unofficially naming this ski carry method the ‘Scottish Sled Pull’.

Please send videos to matt@unofficialnetworks.com if you see any others practicing this method out there in the wild.
