The shoebill stork is one of the most fascinating creatures on planet earth.
The animal is refined to a small geographical area in the swamps and tropical areas of East Africa, but it’s large in stature.
Shoebills stand up to 55 inches tall (5 feet 5 inches) with wingspans that stretch over 8 feet long!
Some online commenters have made note that the bird looks like a dinosaur still walking (and flying) the Earth.
