Storm

Uh… can somebody please check on the fine folks over at Mammoth Mountain, California for me?

I’m sure everybody is fine, but with 45-58 inches falling in just the first 4 days of December I’m starting to get worried about their powder skiing legs…

Yes, you read that correctly.

Today is December 5th, and Mammoth has seen nearly 5 FEET of snow fall already this month. That’s more than many ski areas in the Mid-Atlantic and Midwest hope to see all season.

Check out what the summit of the mountain looked like yesterday afternoon. Nuke Town population- Mammoth Mountain😳

This storm brings Mammoth’s season total to a whopping 108 inches at the Main Lodge.

Nearly the entire mountain is open with 151 out of 175 trails, 15 of 25 lifts, and base depths ranging from 60-107 inches.

I can’t even fathom skiing a resort with more than a 100-inch base depth in the first week of December. That’s unreal.

I’d love to see your powder skiing pics and videos captured at Mammoth this season. Send them to matt@unofficialnetworks.com.

They might just be featured in a #MammothMonday post right here on Unofficial Networks.

Have fun and stay safe out there friends. Remember to stretch. Your hammies will thank you later.
