The plentiful early-season snow in the American west has been kicking the season off with a bang. Ski resorts across the region have been opening early, and June Mountain, California is getting in on the party.

June will open a whole week earlier than they originally planned, with the first chairlifts running at 8AM and 8:30AM on Saturday December 10th.

June is reporting 45″ already on the season with an additional 29″ forecasted to fall over the next 5 days according to OpenSnow.

Conditions for opening day should be absolutely fantastic.
