Sugarbush will be one of the first ski resorts to open in Vermont, as the mountain is starting its 2022-23 season on Saturday. They’ll start their winter off by running the Gate House Quad, and Sugarbush will have at least the Pushover, Slowpoke, and Sugarbear Road trails open. Snowmaking efforts are aiming to open more runs as the weekend continues. The ski resort also reported 3-6″ of new snow yesterday, which helps with their base. The open terrain will be suitable for advanced/expert skiers and riders only, and early-season conditions will exist.

Sugarbush spent $7 million on offseason improvements on new snowmaking and grooming equipment, along with upgrading their cabin cats, so it will be a great season at this historic Vermont ski resort.
