Magnifique! The Québec ski season began today, as Sommet Saint-Sauveur opened today at noon. Sommet Saint-Savuer will be open today from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. One trail (Côte 70 Ouest) and one lift (L’Étoile Atomic) are open, and prime snowmaking temperatures will continue to grow their run count. There is a DJ at the mountain performing today, and they gave away t-shirts to the first guests that arrived. They’re bracing for a long season ahead, as they’re usually one of the last ski resorts in North America to close for the season.

According to Le Journal De Québec, other major Quebec ski resorts like Mont Tremblant, Stoneham, and Mont Saint-Anne are aiming to open next week.
