There’s nothing in skiing and snowboarding more heart-warming than seeing disabled folks get on the mountain thanks to adaptive programs. It’s a truly rewarding experience for everybody involved, including us as viewers.

The video below shows Army Veteran Joseph Johnson getting back on the slopes for the first time since becoming disabled thanks to the National Disable Veterans Winter Sports Clinic in Snowmass, CO.

“Army Veteran Joseph Johnson says he feels “hope for the first time in a long time” after learning to ski with adaptive equipment at the 36th National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic in Snowmass, Co. The clinic is co-hosted by the Department of Veterans Affairs and DAV Disabled American Veterans.”

From all of us at Unofficial Networks- THANK YOU to all of our heroic veterans. We love you.
