Wolf Creek Ski Area in Pagosa Springs, CO made a surprise announcement over the weekend, they will kick off their Winter ’22/’23 season on Friday, November 4th.

The mountain will only open the Nova and Lynx beginner lifts on 11/4-11/6 from 9AM-4PM, but their followers are excited nonetheless.

Here’s the full statement from Wolf Creek:

“Wolf Creek Ski Area’s most recent storm added 8”to the first 6” bringing October’s total to 14 “. Nova and Lynx beginner lifts will be operating Nov. 4, 5, 6 from 9 am to 4 pm! More details are at wolfcreekski.com

The beginner trails Foxy, Nova and Susan’s will be available for skiers and boarders.”

Wolf Creek will be the 4th ski area open in Colorado following Arapahoe Basin, Keystone, and Winter Park.

I hope all of our friends across Colorado are having fun out there. It’s been a slow start to the season, but I have a feeling that things will turn around quickly. Here’s hoping, at least.
