Let me start this article by saying I don’t really know much about F1.

I know that there’s a British dude who wins a lot, a Dutch guy that drives for Red Bull (I think), and that F1 fans are some of the most passionate in the world. There’s also a pretty popular Netflix series from what I’ve heard.

I hate to admit that I had to look up who Carlos Sainz Jr. is before writing this nonsense, but hey, I only pretend to know everything sometimes.

Anyways, the short video below shows Ferrari driver Sainz Jr. skiing through a few Giant Slalom gates at last year’s Hahnenkamm Race in Kitzbuhel, and he’s actually not too bad!

Check it out:

He’s not fantastic, but his edge-to-edge form is fairly decent!

Sainz Jr. is a Spaniard so one can assume he grew up skiing in the Pyrenees, maybe?

Which athletes would you like to see attempt the Streif downhill course at Kitzbuhel? Personally, I think it would be pretty damn impressive if a 7-foot NBA player was able to make it down without dying.

Maybe Boban Marjanović? He’s European. Surely he has some skiing experience, right?
