For quite some time, I’ve wanted to get my hands on a camper trailer. In my mind, having something I could tow behind my car that allows me to sleep comfortably almost anywhere and nearly any time of the year seems like a glimpse at true freedom. It just sounds ideal. Unfortunately, they’re expensive, very expensive, so I don’t think I’ll be getting my hands on one anytime soon. However, I see absolutely no harm in doing a little window shopping.

There are plenty of options for camper trailers in this world, but very few are built by snowboard companies. Now, I’m not a snowboarder, so when it comes to snowboard builders, I don’t know very much, but I do think a well built camper built by those who live for the slopes just as much is me is one I can get into. The SkyView camper is exactly that, built and sold by the Never Summer Industries snowboard company, and it looks pretty damn sweet.

First things first, this camper trailer is beautiful. It’s got a sleek, modern look to it, with a baltic birch box frame, an aluminum exterior, and western red cedar fins on the outside. In short, it looks like it belongs among the mountains while staying away from looking like a crusty shed on wheels. It’s not massive, comfortably fitting two people with 143″x76″ dimensions, but it’s got pretty much everything you’d need from a camper.

It’s got solar panels, a queen sized bed that can turn into a couch, an indoor-outdoor collapsable table, a backside table with a sink, LED lighting, a camp stove, six USB ports and two cigarette charger outlets, storage bins, ceiling mounted cargo net storage, a solar heated shower, and so much more. For $1,000 extra, the company will install a ClimateRight air conditioner and heater.

Also, quite notably, this thing is built in Denver, Colorado. That’s right, right here in the United States just for you, and it only costs $24,900. Okay, obviously that’s a lot of money, but it’s a lot cheaper than any Airstream trailer (absolutely nothing against Airstream or their prices, they make some very nice camper trailers). All in all, this seems to be a darn sweet trailer designed and built by a snowboard company, and I find that pretty dope.
