The Roosevelt elk is considered to be the largest subspecies of elk still inhabiting North America. Bulls weigh between 700 and 1,100 lb. and are 6-10′ in length. They’re massive, and are absolute marvel to watch from a safe distance.

The video below shows nearly 3-minutes of a Roosevelt bull elk herd wandering through an empty field. You see multiple bulls practicing sparring, and even them chasing off an annoying goose at one point.
