Sometimes, the wildest battles aren’t fought with guns, swords, or fists, but with antlers, hooves, or paws. Elk, deer, bears, and more. When they fight, I want to watch. It’s definitely not easy to pick a favorite, but there’s no doubt in my mind that moose tend to be the most epic, and it seems like the other animals of the forest might agree.

These two bull moose were spotted dueling in what appears to be Grand Teton National Park, with a bull elk watching from a distance. According to Smithsonian Magazine, bull moose generally fight over territory or females, pushing each other away as a test of strength, rather than attempting to kill each other.

Just to put a little knowledge in your brain, in case you’re wondering, if an elk and a moose battled it out, it’s not too difficult to figure out who would win. A rocky mountain bull elk, which is almost certainly what’s featured in this video, generally grow to be around 700 pounds, while a bull moose can get up to 1,600 pounds. Basically, the moose would win, easily.
