You might recall the story of Charles Bello and his astounding property in Northern California.

If you need a refresher:

Bello was the proud owner of 400-acres of pristine Redwood Forest in Mendocino County. Him and his wife purchased the property back in 1968. They lived together in an off-grid cabin on the property ,on a shoestring budget, for 50 years.

Bello gave the property to Humbolt State University Foundation (HSUF) in 2021 so that they could preserve his legacy. However, Bello is now claiming that HSUF has violated a number of conditions that were part of their agreement.

Bello is now asking for the public’s help to raise money to reclaim his property from HSUF. The large majority of funds will go to lawyer fees.
