Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, skiers and snowboarders from around the country…

I’m proud to announce that Unofficial Networks is partnering with legendary ski film studio Level 1 to present the inaugural Snowvana Amateur Film Competition!

All of us here at Unofficial Networks are stoked about this opportunity, and most importantly, we’re stoked to see all of the skiing and snowboarding films you good people create.

SNOWVANA AMATEUR FILM COMPETITION ANNOUNCED

The new competition will showcase the best new filmmakers and athletes from around the world and will premier at the Mt. Hood Film Festival.

Portland, Oregon — The inaugural Snowvana Amateur Film Competition presented by Level 1 and Unofficial Networks seeks to discover the best unknown snowsports athletes (skiers and/or snowboarders) and cinematographers worldwide. Three winners will be crowned: Best Overall Athlete(s) Film, Best Runner-Up Athlete(s) Film, and Best Cinematography.

The winners will receive recognition from one of the industry’s top film companies, Level 1, $5000 in cash prizes, airfare, and lodging to attend Snowvana’s Mt. Hood Film Festival and the prestigious Level 1 SuperUnknown photo shoot (resort location TBD), plus worldwide exposure from media partner, Unofficial Networks.

Mt Hood Film Festival Appearance
One representative from each winning film (three total) will be provided airfare and lodging to attend Snowvana and the Mt. Hood Film Festival. The winning films will be shown at Snowvana’s 600-seat theater, and awards will be presented by Level 1 representatives.
