Hard to say what exactly was photographed by a man was working on farmland above Kailua-Kona but the image has prompted an investigation by the Department of Land and Natural Resources who set up cameras and bait at two different stations along the property. According to KHON2 the DLNR said sightings have been reported in up to 10 different locations. The first in Holualoa is the only one so far with evidence and they aren’t dispatching any additional resources without proof.  What do you make of the image? Legit wildcat or is it a case of mistaken identity?
