A shadow on Arizona’s Superstition Mountains appears to look like a pouncing cougar, and I thought it was cool enough to share with all of you.
The picture was included in a Tweet by @joslater37. He claims that the shadow can be seen near Apache Junction, AZ for about a week at a time twice per year, just as the sun is setting.

Somebody replied to the original Tweet saying, “Gonna go here and do shrooms” and while I’ve never indulged in magic mushrooms myself, I can imagine that this would be a pretty trippy place to spend a few hours… 😂
Anybody know of any cool shadows formed by the setting sun and mountains? I’d love to see them.
