Whatever happened to grass skiing? The summer equivalent to sliding on snow seemed to take the action sports community by storm in the 1970s and then it just slowly faded away.
There’s surely a lot of risk in a ski hill offering grass skiing during the summer, but I feel like some small Midwest and East Coast resorts could turn it into a feasible source of income.
Warren Miller Entertainment has started to tease their upcoming annual film release with a clip of Connery Lundin (@c0nnery) ripping some grass skis in the Swiss Alps.
It looks like it’s going to be a fun time.
Connery posted another clip of him hitting a terrain park feature on grass skis to his personal Instagram page. It further proves my point that grass skiing needs to make a comeback across the globe.
You can’t tell me that this doesn’t look like fun.
