I know that snow skis aren’t designed to ride on water, but I’ve seen enough videos lately of guys full-booting up to ride their freeride skis behind a boat that I’m very tempted to try it.
I don’t want to try it because I think they’ll perform better than a water ski, but because I have an immense desire to boot up during the summer, and this just might fill the void…
Anyways, enough of my personal problems… Matis Plaisance took his pair of Blizzard Rustler 11s behind a boat and they handled surprisingly well!
I wonder if you have to go faster to account for less buoyancy? Also, love the dock start at the beginning of the video. Probably way easier than trying to yank him up from an in-water start.
