The fastest-growing ski resort in Utah is one that many people haven’t heard of. Nordic Valley in Eden, Utah expanded onto a brand new peak for the 2020-21 season, which is serviced by a detachable six-pack. I got to check out the mountain last winter and I was really impressed with how much the little mountain has grown since I went to college out in Utah. This offseason, Nordic Valley is hard at work to enhance the guest experience. Some of the projects include new tree runs over on the Nordic Express terrain pods, adding new snowmaking guns and other equipment, resurfacing of the third parking lot, 33,000 square feet of new parking, a new beer bar in the old ski patrol room, and new rental equipment from Head.

While the new tree runs and snowmaking additions sound nice, I’m most eager to see how the new beer bar turns out, as its setting in an old patrol room has a lot of potential. If you are planning a ski trip to Utah next winter, definitely check this place out.
