North Carolina and West Virginia are home to the highest lift-serviced skiing east of The Mississippi River. I know, that came as a shock to me as well.
Clearly peak elevation does not equate to the best skiing, but it’s still a fun stat to look at.

New Jersey- Mountain Creek Resort
Peak Elevation: 1,480′
Connecticut- Mohawk Mountain
Peak Elevation: 1,600′
Massachusetts: Jiminy Peak
Peak Elevation: 2,380′
Pennsylvania- Blue Knob
Peak Elevation: 3,146′
New Hampshire- Cannon Mountain
Peak Elevation: 4,080′
Vermont- Killington Mountain Resort
Peak Elevation: 4,241′
