Alta Ski Area’s (UT) Sunnyside Lift lift is being replaced by a brand-new detachable six-pack, but Sunnyside will have a new home at Red Lodge Mountain (MT).
Both ski areas have been providing updates throughout the process, and it’s been fun to watch in real-time.
Alta shared yesterday that the Sunnyside’s towers have all been removed and are currently on their way to Red Lodge.
The video below shows a helicopter carrying one of the towers through the air. It’s pretty dang cool in my opinion. Those heli operators have a pretty sweet gig.
