Australian Ski Resort Sees 50+ Inches Of Snow Before Opening Day

May be an image of snow

Hotham Alpine Resort (Australia) is set to open for the season on Saturday, June 10th with 53 in. (135 cm.) of fresh snowfall.

That might not sound like a whole lot, but considering Hotham averages only 118 in. (300 cm.) per season, I’d argue that they’re poised for an excellent season if this level of snowfall continues.

Check out the awesome photos posted to Hotham’s Facebook page over the last couple of days. It looks DEEP out there.

Anybody wanna book a trip to Australia with me?

Or, rather, does anybody wanna Venmo me a couple of thousands of dollars so that I can take a trip to Australia? I’d be cool with that.
