It just won’t stop snowing at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area (Colorado).
A Basin is planning on calling it quits on the winter season after Sunday, June 4th, but it just keeps on snowing up at the legendary ski area.
A Basin has picked up 10″ of snow over the last 72 hours with 4″ just falling yesterday! What a weird season it’s been, but I know that the A Basin diehards aren’t complaining!

Arapahoe Basin COO Al Henceroth shared the excitement about all of the fresh snow in a recent blog post:
“Always nice to start June with new snow. We reported 4 inches of new snow this morning. The storm is breaking up and the sun is popping through the clouds. We may have a bluebird afternoon. June skiers are a very special breed. They love being out on the snow.”
Hope all of you lucky folks out in Colorado are enjoying the late season turns. I know A Basin doesn’t have a lot open, but you’re still enjoying lift-serviced turns in June! Can’t beat that.
