I like whales. Or at least, I did like whales. I don’t think I’ll be seeking them out after seeing this video. I don’t know if these people were whale watching or not, but imagine there excitement of seeing one of these incredible beasts breaching right next to you, only for it to collapse on top of you…

According to Newsweek, two men and two women were injured and taken to a hospital, but their ongoing condition is not stated. This took place in Topolobampo bay in Mexico, an area in the Gulf of California popular for whale watching. It’s likely that the whale had been provoked by the boat getting too close, causing the incident.
