Tornados are rare in the Northeast, but they can still leave behind some major damage. Yesterday, severe thunderstorms hit the state of New Hampshire, and even a tornado occurred in the town of North Charlestown. It was only functional for a few seconds, but it took down some trees and a powerline. No injuries were reported According to WMUR, the National Weather Service traveled to the state and confirmed that it was a tornado.
Tornados in New Hampshire are pretty rare, as the mountainous and uneven terrain leads to quick tornados if they can even land successfully.
