Looking for a chance to purchase a historic ski chair? Another perk of Vail Resort’s Epic Lift Upgrade for the 2022-23 season is the many chair auctions that are taking place for the old lifts that are being replaced. Heavenly’s North Bowl Triple will be replaced by a high-speed quad this offseason, and the California ski resort will give bidders the chance to own one of the old chairs. Heavenly announced that they’ll be auctioning off ninety-four of the old North Bowl chairs starting this Friday at 12 pm PST and ending on Saturday (May 7) at 12 pm PST. The bids will start at $150.
Proceeds of the auction will go towards the Ski Run Community Park, The Boys & Girls Club of South Lake Tahoe, and the EpicPromise Foundation. If you win a chair, you have to pick it up at Heavenly on May 13th from 9 am to 1 pm PST or on May 14th from 9 am to 1 pm PST. Click here to learn more and make a bid on the chairs.
