Looking for a chance to purchase a historic ski chair? Another perk of Vail Resort’s Epic Lift Upgrade for the 2022-23 season is the many chair auctions that are taking place for the old lifts that are being replaced. Heavenly’s North Bowl Triple will be replaced by a high-speed quad this offseason, and the California ski resort will give bidders the chance to own one of the old chairs. Heavenly announced that they’ll be auctioning off ninety-four of the old North Bowl chairs starting today (Friday, June 3rd) at 12 p.m. PST and ending on Saturday (June 4th) at 12 p.m. PST. The bids will start at $150.
Proceeds of the auction will go towards the Ski Run Community Park, The Boys & Girls Club of South Lake Tahoe, and the EpicPromise Foundation. If you win a chair, you have to pick it up at Heavenly on June 10th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. PST or on June 11th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. PST. Click here to learn more and make a bid on the chairs.
