Closing day of the ski season can be bittersweet, ya know?

I always feel grateful for the fun I had throughout the year, but sad that I’ll have to wait months before I get to slide on snow again.

Some resorts have pond skims, costume contests, BBQs, and live music to ease the pain of the last day, but I think Stowe Mountain Resort might be have a new tradition on their hands…

They brought out a literal truck bed full of Golden Retrievers for guests to interact with, and I love every single thing about it.

I can’t think of a more joyous thing than a dozen happy pups to pet before those final turns of the year.

Only way they could make this better is if they let those puppers run free on the  slopes throughout the day.

Well, on second thought, that might be dangerous of the dogs, but it sure would be fun to ski some slush bumps laps flanked by smiling Golden Retrievers, wouldn’t it?
