Bittersweet day in Little Cottonwood Canyon as Snowbird’s original Blue and Red Tram cabins shuttled its final batch of skiers and snowboarders to Hidden Peak. 96-year-old skier Junior Bounous was on hand for the festivities and reminisced on the 50 years of turns the original cabins have provided. Snowbird will begin installing the new Tram cabin in short order and they are expected to be operational in late June.
