Beech Mountain Resort in North Carolina has had a very weird season. The resort made national news when a snowmaking pipe burst and injured skiers riding a chairlift, and now a video has emerged of a black bear casually strolling near skiers on the icy slopes.
I have no idea what the hell I would do if a black bear was just meandering by me on a ski slope. I guess I would just ski away and hope the beast didn’t chase me?

I don’t know what’s scarier. The bear or the icy snow conditions… I’m an east coast boy at heart, but that boilerplate snow would even make me think twice. It truly looks like downhill ice skating… 😂
