Everybody loves to make jokes about gas-guzzling Hummers, and I don’t necessarily blame them for that.
It’s hard to defend owning one of these climate-change-contributing machines when you consider the fact that they average less than 10mpg.
With that being said, there is one instance when owning a Hummer can be extremely practical.

All I’m saying is that owning a Hummer, or knowing a guy who owns one could be extremely useful if you’re ever snowed in by a 3-foot blizzard. None of those whimpy rear-wheel drive sedans are going anywhere anytime soon, ya know?
Side note, but I laughed so hard at how all of the people watching cheered as the Hummer blasted through the snow, and then immediately began talking badly about the car after he drove by.
“I bet he paid $100 in gas!” Yeah, probably. But guess who’s able to drive to the grocery store. Not so funny now, huh?!?!
