Due to various reasons, Mount Prospect Ski Tow in Lancaster, New Hampshire won’t operate this season. According to New England Ski Industry, the reasons for the temporary closure include doing some renovation work, replacing the rope for their rope tow, recruiting volunteers, and setting up a new leadership team. The hill has been around since the early 1940s, has three runs, and features a two hundred and fifty-foot vertical drop. The rope tow is expected to reopen next year.
