Cedar Pass Snow Park in California has been among the least lucky mountains in terms of supply chain issues this season. The majority of terrain at the small ski area is serviced by a t-bar. This T-Bar originally serviced Taos in New Mexico and opened for the first time at Cedar Pass in 1988. In order for the T-bar to operate, a new cable needs to be added for it to become operational again. The cable has been ordered, but its delivery will not be until the middle of February, and putting it on will take some time too. Because of these delays, Cedar Pass Snow Park will not operate this season. It’s sad news for local skiers, but they are planning to reopen next season.
