When I was skiing in Killington on Sunday, I was surprised to see a good amount of snowfall in the later afternoon. The resort saw three inches from this sneaker storm. The winner from this system though was Cannon Mountain, which saw six inches from the storm. The mountain has sixty-one trails open, currently the most in the state of New Hampshire. Another winner from the storm was Mad River Glen, which saw five inches of snow from when the lifts closed on Sunday. A small snow shower delivered three more inches at Cannon last night, bringing their forty-eight-hour total to nine inches, and a potential blockbuster snowstorm could be on tap for the weekend. A video from the sleeper powder day at Cannon is below.
