Tony Hawk is an excellent follow on Twitter. His regular stories about people telling him he looks “just like Tony Hawk” are absolutely hilarious. I love the fact that he’s humble, and doesn’t outwardly admit to people that he is in fact The Birdman himself. He just rolls with it and gets a good laugh about it later.
Hawk recently Tweeted that some snowboarders approached him at Mammoth Mountain saying that he looked just like Tony Hawk, and his response was hilarious. What’s even better is that Hawk was filming his daughter hitting jumps, and clearly didn’t want to turn the attention towards himself.

These guys are probably kicking themselves now realizing that they did in fact meet Tony Hawk and didn’t grab that picture.
Hawk later Tweeted the video he took of his daughter hitting the jumps at Mammoth. You can see the dudes who questioned him sitting down in the beginning of the video.
