The YouTube algorithm serves up the perfect videos for me to post as a ski blogger from time-to-time. Today’s video is one of those that was too good not to share.
The video shows a young girl getting evacuated from a chairlift at Whitefish Mountain Resort back in 2018. People in the comments claim that the lift had to be evacuated on this particular day after the lift operator noticed a mechanical issue in the bull-wheel.
The video is a little long, but it shows a perfectly-executed evacuation by ski patrol at Whitefish. Kudos to them, and shout out to the girl for being so brave throughout the process!
Show this video to anybody who thinks ski patrollers don’t deserve to be paid a livable wage…
