Snowboarder Maurice Kervin sat down with FOX 31 almost a year to the day after he narrowly escaped an avalanche near Loveland on Janurary, 8th, 2021. Thankfully Kervin successfully deployed his avalanche airbag and was able to stay on the surface of the crumbling slope but the first and best safety strategy in avalanche territory is avoidance.
