Kind of funny to think that Alberta, Canada has a rich history of cowboys, but they do! I’ll admit, it’s funny only because I’m a naive American, but at least I own up to that fact, right?
Calgary annually hosts the Calgary Stampede, and just taking a little drive through the rural parts of Alberta will tell you all you need to know about them Cowboys from the Great White North.
I’ve seen plenty of cowboys ride horses, but this might be the first time I’ve seen one saddle up a bison. I know for a fact that I’ve never seen somebody ride a bison to the supermarket for milk and veggies.
Can one of our Canadian readers please let me know if this is a normal thing in these parts, or is this guy just a little bit extra? 😂
